About Cooper Cobbs

Cooper Cobbs competed in NCFCA for all four years of high school, winning tournaments in debate, platform, and limited preparation events. In Lincoln-Douglas debate, he placed 4th and 7th at the NCFCA National Championship his junior and senior years, respectively, and finished as the 2nd place national finalist in Moot Court his senior year.

Most recently, he competed as a member on the renowned Patrick Henry College debate travel team during his freshman year of college. He was a finalist in the Fall 2024 “Sentinel Skirmish” civic debate tournament, earned two novice speaker awards at national travel tournaments, and—with legendary Stoa alumni Camille Rowley and Mark Roose—won Top Novice Team and 2nd Overall Team at the “Spring 2025 Transatlantic Dialogues—West Tournament” in Denver, CO.

Passionate about pursuing Christ excellently in all things, Cooper looks forward to helping students grow in excellence in speech and debate.
