About Nathan 

Nathan joined NCFCA in 2020 and competed in TP, LD, and Moot Court. Nathan has previously mentored debate students, guiding them to tournament wins and numerous finals appearances. Nathan believes that each debater is unique in their communication style and should be comfortable debating in their own skin. His core philosophy is that understanding precedes persuasion

Nathan won regionals back to back to back during his first three years in the league and recently won the 2024 National Championship in Team Policy. During the 2022-2023 debate season, Nathan won the two largest LD tournaments without losing a round (100+ competitors). Over his debate career, he has made 17 finals appearances. In Team Policy's 2023-2024 debate season, Nathan and Emma's affirmative case never lost an out round. In Moot Court, Nathan and his partner had the most dominant regular season in NCFCA history, making finals at every qualifier.
